Affine Designs and the Geometry of Frequency Squares

The talk will consist of a short survey of affine designs in various guises
as, for example, orthogonal arrays, nets, TDs
or generalised Hadamard matrices. The last part of the talk will describe a
generalisation of Bose's theorem for MOLs to frequency squares and show how
this unifies the various types of complete sets of mutually orthogonal
frequency squares listed in the CRC handbook.
