My subject area is Bioinformatics and I have recently submitted my thesis titled “On the effects of large-scale transcriptomics datasets on gene functional analyses”. My project was supervised by Dr. Alberto Paccanaro in computer science and Dr. Alessandra Devoto, Prof. Dr. Laszlo Bogre and Prof. Dr. Peter Bramley in biological science.
Research interests: Gene expression data analyses including Microarrays and RNA-seq Gene functional analyses by applying data mining techniques such as clustering and building gene interaction graphs. Gene regulatory and metabolic pathway elucidation Gene Ontology and its applications in functional analyses
