| General information: | I started at Odense University the 1 September 1989. During the first 1.5 years I completed subjects such as Biology, Molecular biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. My university education has proceeded as follows: | |
| 1990: | Gave a colloquia at the institute for mathematics and computer science, titled "Selecting a satisfactory secretary". | |
| 1992: | Completed Bachelor degree in mathematics. | |
| 1993: | The 1. September I started my Ph.D. studies, with the title "generalizations of tournaments". | |
| 1994: | Had half a years leave in the autumn, in order to concentrate 100% on Squash, where I was, and still am, on the Danish national team. | |
| 1995: | Gave a presentation at a conference in Twente, Holland. Gave a presentation at the British Combinatorial Conference in Stirling, Scotland. | |
| 1996: | Obtained my masters degree (Danish: Cand. Scient.). Gave a presentation at the SIAM conference on Discrete mathematics in Baltimore, USA. | |
| 1997: | Completed a two month visit to Curtin University, Perth, Australia. Had a 3 month stay at Goldsmith College, London, U.K. Gave a presentation at the British Combinatorial Conference in London, England. | |
| 1998: | I handed in my Ph.D. thesis on the 4th of March. I was employed as a research assistent at Odense University in the period 1/3/98-31/8/98. The 1st of September I started as a post.doc. at the University of Victoria (financed by the danish research council). | |
| 1999: | The 1'st of September I started a post.doc. position in Aarhus, Denmark. | |
| 2001: | The 1'st of September I started a lecture position at Royal Holloway, University of London. | |
| Teaching experience: | I have been an instructor (i.e. the teacher in problem solving classes) in the courses "Advanced Probability Theory", "Mathematics B", "Algorithms and Complexity" and "Discrete Mathematics". I also gave a few lectures in "Algorithms and Complexity", when the teacher was unable to do so. I have finally been teaching the course "Discrete Mathematics" in the spring of 1998 (both as an instructor and as a lecturer). I have thought the course "Graph Algorithms" twice at Aarhus university, and the course "Discrete Mathematics" once at Aarhus university. At Royal Holloway I have thought the course "Time & space: Efficient Algorithms". | |
