Current Collaborations -- brief description

The goal of my research is to answer real question in molecular biology. Therefore my work is often part of a multi-disciplinary team effort that includes practical, experimental collaborations. Team participation is a key feature of the group.

Here at Royal Holloway I am affiliated with the Centre for Sytems and Synthetic Biology (web page coming soon, for now look at the Synthetic and Systems Biology Group ) and I collaborate with several labs in the School of Biological Sciences. Together with the labs of Laci Bogre and Alessandra Devoto I work on the analysis of signalling pathways in A. thaliana, and particularly the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascade and the jasmonate signalling pathways. I am involved in the develpment of novel machine learning algorithms for the analysis of metabolic data together with the labs of Peter Bramley and Paul Fraser. I collaborate with the labs of Enrique Lopez and Paul Devlin for the analysis of regulatory networks in light signalling and circadian rythm.

Internationally, I collaborate on different projects with the labs of Mark Gerstein, Yale University; Andrew Emili, University of Toronto; Olof Emanuelsson at Stockholm University; Haiyuan Yu, at Cornell University; Deyou Zheng, at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Rajkumar Sasidharan at Stanford University.
