The Bromley North branch

I've started to collect together information on the Bromley North branch which I once lived near. The whole line is only around 1.75 miles long, it has possibly the closest terminus and intermediary station anywhere on the network, and although electrified in 1926 it continued to have steam (and latterly diesel hauled) goods traffic until 1968.

The Railway Magazine published an article on the branch in 1975. I've reproduced it here by kind permission of the publishers.
