Starting a technological spin-off: Lessons learned

DAEDALUS (http://www.daedalus.es) is spin-off from a research group on Intelligent Systems at the Technical University of Madrid. Being started in 1998, the company develops and provides innovative products and services based on Information Technologies. The presentation will try to revise this seven year running experience by looking backwards at some past success and failure stories. The talk will conclude with some hints for people dreaming about starting a technological company.
